One of these women is my cousin Ashley. I myself have enjoyed getting to know her in a whole new way, now that we are grown and not children. Ashley is currently serving for the peace corps in Burkina Faso, Africa where she is helping women start their own business and other educating programs.
It has been so fun talking with Raquel about what Ash is doing,where she is at and preparing care packages for her.
I would say over 3 months ago Ash mailed a letter to Raquel and we finally got it in the end of June. The stamp was just awesome and Ash has a real talent relating her adventures to a 4 year old. Raquel especailly loved the map she drew.
Ash, we love you and are so proud of you! I am thankful to have you, your sister and mama as great example of being a confident, giving and hard working example to my girl!
