A pretty peacock for Halloween.
We went to NM for Thanksgiving and it was a welcome treat to be in nature! Since we didn't have an oven to cook a turkey we rented a cabin to have our feast. We were surrounded by deer. Boman was in heaven. Greeted by black bears at night when taking the brining turkey out to the car. Played in the "river". Took several nature walks. Played games and watched our traditional movies.
Finished the trip off by picking out our Christmas tree.
Christmas has become one of my favorite holidays. I love the smells, movies, food and the spirit that comes with the holiday.
