During this time Boman made trips to TX. While there he looked at several homes for us. Our good friend Christina Rushton told us of a house coming on the market. He looked at it, felt it was a good buy and with my blessing and being pregnant and tired he bought the place. Our first home and I had no idea what it looked like.
We stayed in WY till the end of July. Boman came and got us and we made the move to TX. We could not move in till August so we dropped our things off in a small trailer and continued on to live in a hotel for the next several weeks while he worked.
Alabama was hot and sticky. Many days rained so we didn't get in the pool as much as we liked. I became pretty good at cooking in a hotel room. Without a car and to far to walk to anything, Bells kept entertained with some toys and probably too much TV. Yet it was oh so good to be all together! We did make it to the white hot beach and Boman and Bells had a date night.
I returned to TX with Bells to get her ready for her first day of preschool and to settle into a house that I couldn't imagine could ever feel like home to me.
