Easter this year was not our traditional Easter. We, parents were sick. Boman with a nasty eye infection and me well just feeling not so hot or capable of planning ahead.
None the less I got Raquel to church were she learned of our Savior and the marvelous resurrection. We chose to have the egg hunt and basket after church as we want her to learn the true purpose of this day is to think about and celebrate Christ and his story.
The egg hunt out side in the sun was nice. She loves her bugs!
Our kind neighbors invited us over for dinner. It is nice to have friends that are like extended family. I am so thankful for all the children that Raquel can play with for hours.
Even though Boman and I were feeling low Raquel went to bed with a smile on her face. That is an accomplishment I think. To have a happy child.
