Christmas Happenings Part 2 Decor

I was so excited to buy these lamps and wreaths! Both were a steal. The wreath was $12 each!

Next to the tree in both those "doorways" I hung the phrases "Born this day our Savior" and"Come let us adore him"

I went crazy on homemade decor. First Christmas at "home" in 3 years does that to you. In fact Boman and I realized this is the longest we have been in one place in the last 3 years. (8 months and counting) Back to the decor. I made lots of letter phrases like Cheer, Merry, Rejoice, Come let us adore him, A Savior is Born, Christ, Angel Sing and so forth. The phrase have been nice to read daily. Reminds me the reason of the season. I also made paper chains, snowflakes, gingerbread cookies and popcorn strings for the tree.

 

 

These lovely ladies helped with the gingerbread house that now sits in Bells play room. I notice they have been sneaking bits. Next to gingerbread is Penguin  and soon other snow creatures we are learning about in our home preschool. 

This is Red the Elf. He came into our home last year. This year he has found himself in a lot of mischief. He has been found making snow angels, turn Daddy's deer into Rudolf, made a bed in Bells doll house, reading Christmas book , hanging from chandlers and many other places. He has been fun to have around.
