We decorated the tree. This is a "involved process" We strung popcorn and made homemade gingerbread cookies to hang on the tree along with our other ornaments. Raquel ate more than made. (this being an "involved" activity I failed to remember to grab the camera...oops) Along with that we decorated the house with paper chains and word sayings. I am liking the words hung up. As I read them multiple times in a day I am reminded the reason for the season, Christ.
While decorating we let Raquel watch the Grinch. She giggle through almost the whole thing. I think the dog made her laugh. I am thankful that we have a home we are in the Christmas and not traveling. It is so nice to have a tree again and to start traditions with Raquel. 12 days and counting!
