We spent this year at the community center preparing and serving Thanksgiving dinner. This has been one of my favorite Thanksgivings! We had plenty of volunteers and food. Although we did not use all the food , I am so thankful we had more than enough to feed the seniors and those in need a warm meal in our community.
I was so proud of Raquel. She was a happy helpful kid for more than 5 hours. Her job was trash and drinks. About every 15 mins she would proudly walk around to each garbage can to see if it was full. If she discovered it was she would exclaim to her Dad it was full. She also cleared tables, served drinks and helped me serve the turkey.
My heart was full of love. It was a great day for us all!
