We headed back to the NW to see of my cousin Ashley. She is a bright, kind and a real pal to Bells. Ashley is heading to Africa for a time to serve in the Peace Corp.
As a family we went to the beach. The beach calms my soul. The weekend was restful. We chatted, jumped waves with GG, read books, ate yummy food including Tillomock ice cream and played in the sand.
Bells and I made it a few times down to the beach. She favored the broken sea shells, became a mermaid and built a castle for a caterpillar.
I have forgotten how much I love water. I hope to retire next to a lake at least.
