Audrey Jane Lapp was born at 10:30 am. It was the most physical and emotional pain I felt at once. Yet also one of the most spiritual at the same time. There is saying in the stillborn baby community "born still but still born". That is the case with Audrey. We think of her daily. Her name crosses our lips. We are taught by her often. We remember her especially today.
Today we went to church and thankfully I was asked to fill in the children's Sunday school (primary). At first I was not looking forward to it at all. It ended up being the best place for me. It was a good way to start off this day. After church we loaded up and headed out.
To honor Audrey instead of throwing a birthday party we went to Rexburg and tended her grave site. Adorned it with fresh flowers and one white balloon. We also let one go. Bells loves doing this. We made one of those cement glass art garden stone thing. To use as a marker till her headstone arrives. It was a nice time as a family and a peaceful time. It was almost like she was there with us.
