In between places I attempted to do a tradition of a ginger bread house. Well it did not go up so well. But it tasted good.
See Raquel and I have been on 5 round trip plane rides since November 16th to the 28th of December.
( So thankful for a hardworking Husband and a great bonus!) The cause of so many unexpected plane rides is mostly due to my Moms health. She was diagnosed with a terminal leukemia. Her days are numbers and really only God knows when.
So with this we did not focus much on Christmas and the traditions. I am grateful for Family that helped us make it a good one for Raquel!

So this was the hoilday for us this year. Christmas day was a day of many emotions. It marked a year from when we found out we were having Audrey. My Mom was still in the Hospital and my own family was needing me. We are settling into a new "normal", yet again. We are now in Texas. I am planning another trip to visit my Mom. Boman is back at his desk, I am back to taking classes and Raquel is struggling with all of it. And frankly I am struggling to help her. I have hope. That is what I am holding onto.
