We are excited for this little attempt at a "break" from reality. As our reality has had few highs and a lot of lows this year. As soon as we get back, Raquel and I will return to Washington to my Mom's and Dad's. We will be helping with her chemo treatments (if she chooses to continue. It will give a few extra months possibly) and just enjoy whatever days the Lord seems fit to give us.
I am really trying not to be a debbie downer but this report has "put me in the tank" as Boman would describe it. Record lows! Really I was expecting maybe 60 and sunny for the low! I hope a little tender mercy will come our way and warm up some and whatever comes I can just love it and be happy in the moment with my family.
So with us being delayed in moving into our apartment we are still living out of suite cases and "in between". I hope to have the strength to move into a apartment, unpack, pack,laundry,cultivate a optimistic outlook and be ready to be a kid again. Heck, were going to Disney World! I have no room to complain. Cold weather, bring it on! I will bring the layers and ponchos. *Sigh
