Indian summer

The weather has been more than ideal during these fall months. The summer has seem to make up for its late start. Warm sun has been keeping us busy. (and just living in the moments I often neglected to take photos. We have been playing at the river. Digging our feet into the warm sand. Out door picnics. Hanging laundry to dry. Light refreshing dinners. It has been just wonderful playing, chatting and creating memories with friends and family.
We currently live in an ideal neighborhood. Raquel runs straight across the street to play with her friends. Than they run down the street to jump on a tramp. Than back to our house to play. This goes on for hours. At times I can have as few as two kids over or as many as 6. (I have learned to keep more snacks handy!)
I know these days are coming to a close. Soon we will be welcoming a Texas winter, making new friends and living the city life. But we will be ready to return spring and hear once again children's feet pounding the floors and giggles following them.
