We have been celebrating Halloween by craving pumpkins, baking the seeds, dressing up,making seasonal crafts and attending carnivals and trunks for candy. It has been a fun time to see Raquel catch onto the whole Holiday. Plus she was super independent with the carving of the pumpkin. That was a bit hard to keep it fun and her safe. I chose to dress her as a pirate. But to my surprise she did not like that so much. How quickly she changes what she is into. She wanted to dress up like Cinderella.( I am sure the talk of Disney World and princesses influenced that) With some compromises I was able to get her to like the idea of a pirate.
